Born and raised on a farm in rural Indiana, Robin Andrews is a self taught artist and visionary story teller that connects past to future, with a continuim of the strength of the human spirit and it's connection to the divine. She began creating art at the age of 5, and went on to receive a BA from Purdue University, with a double major in Visual Communication Design and Corporarte Communications.  Her creations channel the unification of universal consciousness, bridging the similarity in mythology of diverse cultures. She has lived in the United States the majority of her life, as well as Senegal, Germany, Japan and Thailand.

Her paintings are created with oils applied directly to canvas with pallet knives.  She also has a history of working with pen and ink, water colors and mixed medium.

Past exhibitions include William Grant Still Art Center, Lankershim Art Center, Los Angeles Theater Center (LATC) and other collaborative projects with the Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Department and Shirley Martin Dance Company.

She enjoys giving back to communities around the world, mainly through working with and teaching children, but also through past employment that focused on corporate charitable giving.
